Mr. Eric Lamont Hall, better known as “S.E.R.T. Hall or Big Hall” was born June 1, 1978, to the parentage of the late Rudolph Hall and Gwendolyn Riley Hall, of McRae Helena, GA. He was the eldest of three children. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, John Mitchell Riley Sr., and paternal grandparents, Adel Hall, and Daisy Pearl Turner Hall.
Eric attended Spaulding Grove Missionary Baptist Church and New Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age.
Eric worked for Propex, formerly known as “Hazelhurst Mills” for many years. December 5, 2011, he began his career with the Department of Juvenile Justice “D.J.J” in Milan, GA, and on August 18, 2015, in Eastman, GA until his passing. Fishing and hunting were his passions. He loved working and spending time with Diesel, family, and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory and legacy with his son-pup, Diesel Hall of Alamo, GA; mother, Gwendolyn Hall of McRae Helena, GA; brothers, Darrell Hall (Toni) of Lumber City, GA, Lee Otis “Bo Pete” Mackey (Tayra) of Alamo, GA; sister Shaneika Hall (Cecil Faison) of McRae Helena, GA; grandmother, Betty Clark of McRae Helena, GA; nephews, Ty’Saiveion “Ty” Jones of Jacksonville, NC; Da’Kevian Hall and Da’Rewn Hall of Scotland, GA; Nieces, Ty’Teionna “T”Jones, Ty’Kristiany “Zae” Jones, and Ty’Tristiany “Zye” Jones of McRae Helena, GA; Aa’Layzha Hall of Scotland, GA and Catalina Kerr of Lumber City, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, D.J.J. family, fishing buddies; Albert Burch, Orlando Daniels, Orlando Kinsey, Jimmy Ryals Jr, Gerald Griggs and many other special friends; special cousins, Jacqueline Hall and Kenbria “Layla” Smith, both of McDonough, GA and many more.
